7th RACV Gippsland Tourism Conference

RACV Gippsland Tourism ConferenceDestination Gippsland is inviting all tourism and hospitality businesses to join with their tourism industry colleagues on September 8 – 9, 2015 for the 7th annual RACV Gippsland Tourism Conference. This year the conference is hosted in Traralgon in partnership with Latrobe City Council and Latrobe City Business Tourism Association (LCBTA). Tourism in Gippsland is everyone’s business and tickets are selling fast on the new conference website gippslandtourismconference.com.au.
The conference will help tourism and hospitality businesses learn about current and future trends in tourism and highlight key ideas from award winning Gippsland tourism businesses. Other themes include social media, TripAdvisor, customer service, events, packaging and partnering for success and much more.
This year the conference will be enjoy presentations by Tourism Australia, Tourism Victoria, Victoria Tourism Industry Council as well as a number of industry experts and local tourism excellence case studies. Keynote speakers include futurist Paul Higgins from Emergent Futures and the highly acclaimed Kylie Bartlett also known as the Web Celeb.
Destination Gippsland CEO, Terry Robinson welcomes all tourism and hospitality businesses to join with their industry for two days. “The conference is an opportunity for businesses to step out of the daily routine, connect with industry colleagues and learn skills to take back to their business” said Mr Robinson.

The conference also is a fantastic networking opportunity including networking drinks, a conference dinner at Little Prince Eatery in Traralgon and an ‘activity driven networking lunch’ hosted by LCBTA at Park Lane Holiday Park. “We have a fun industry so we like to enjoy ourselves too” said Peter Ceeney, President of Latrobe City Business Tourism Association.
