Digital Consulting Essentials is a three-day training course provided by the East Gippsland Shire Council aimed at building the capacity and skills of local business consultants in providing advice to clients about their digital plans, strategies and their use of digital channels and technologies in their organisations. This is about providing clients with business advice about their websites, apps and use of social media – it’s not a technical course about building websites or apps.

    Is digital consulting for you?

  • I have experience in advising organisations about aspects such as business planning, improving productivity and customer experience, business process improvement and marketing.
  • I am digitally savvy – I use the Web for business, research and I participate in social media.
  • I am interested in the Digital Age and its implications for individuals and organisations – how they use the Web, smartphones and apps.
  • I am a good communicator and I’m comfortable selling myself and consulting services to clients.
  • I have experience in facilitating workshops, undertaking stakeholder consultations and preparing reports and action plans for organisations.
