About BTEG

BTEG represents eleven member Business Tourism Associations and Chambers of Commerce in East Gippsland – who in turn represent the local business and tourism community.
BTEG is a not‐for‐profit organization established in 2005 as the peak industry body for the East Gippsland local government area.
The objectives of BTEG are:
- To promote business and tourism in the East Gippsland region.
- To identify business and tourism opportunities and lobby relevant authorities.
- To act as a co‐coordinating body to facilitate the sharing of information between member organizations within the East Gippsland Region.
- To provide assistance to member organizations.
- To liaise with other organizations impacting on business and tourism across East Gippsland.
- To keep member organizations informed on key issues impacting on business and tourism in East Gippsland.
- Liaise with and / or develop partnerships for the benefit of BTEG and its members.
- Support the provision of small business programs.
- Run the East Gippsland Business Awards.
